Dr. Adam Kallel, our CSO has twenty three years experience in drug design. He has worked with large and small groups as the lone computational chemist and in larger groups. He has set up and maintained information management systems at three companies, and run successful medicinal chemistry projects. He is responsible for LGD-4665, Ligand Pharmaceuticals first internal clinical candidate in 10 years. He has supported many basic research programs that have led to preclinical and clinical programs. His expertise includes drug discovery in women's health, anti-infectives, metabolic diseases, neurological diseases, oncology and hematopoietic disorders. His experience in the pharmaceutical industry applying ligand, and structure based drug design techniques is relevant to a wide range of problems. He is also an expert in the statistical analysis and graphical display of biological data.
